This is a historical fiction about how my grandmother traveled from Poland, Germany, and on to New York City in 1904. She met her future husband on board their ship while camping in steerage. She had been through a lot for a 14 year old girl.

Each of my books in their series can stand alone and this is one of my best. Problems from our present shall occur again and again. In this story, The Takers, politians are hungry for wealth from the mining on Mars in the 25th century. People are disappearing at an alarming rate to satisfy their greed. Det. Blackhawk decides to go undercover until he's kidnapped into servitude. In this tale of survival, his wife and friends search desparately across the desert sands and craters. Live the futuristic experiences as shuttles and rovers travel the Martian terrain. Will they discover Alex in time? Don't miss the 8th book in the Domino Sagas. Someone asked me what Mystery Along the Colorado Book 3 is about and why I wrote it. I needed to continue the Rosetta Blessing adventures and see what she is up to. I know the location in Colorado. Although this time, I had to change the town names as one attribute in one town is better suited in another. This is a cozy mystery that involves many characters that could have done the crime or crimes. As fiction, I hope to get my readers out of their depressing zone of masks and restrictions while they venture into another world like it should be. I hope this book appeals to a broad range of ages since, Rosetta is in her fifties and her daughter is in her twenties. They have been through a lot together in their other adventures traveling through Europe. In this particular book, I have Rosetta meeting Susan Edwards from my urban fantasy series since they are in the same present time frame. The first two books, Mystery Along the Danube and Mystery Along the Italian Coast, draw from my own travel experiences and what I have witnessed. If it weren't for the supporting characters in my books, my story would seem, well, flat. To name a few, I have Mike Carone, Captain Holbrook, and Robert Bender in my science fiction series, Domino Sagas. The protagonist, Verdock, was excellent in his role. In my urban fantasy, I have Trisha Paige, Fin and Cal, and Thyla. When I started writing my sci-fi detective series, we have Jan Sterling and the villian, Rosorio. When I decided to write my Travel series, Rosetta's daughter, Jan, was a good addition to give her mother balance. I included a few familiar characters in my Quest series as it is derived from the Domino Sagas. Nathan's mother, Alice, and his father, Mike Carone. I wanted to write a YA adventure and this was more interesting to write than my other series. I have conflict, frustration, and sorrow. And who can forget our famous reporter, Olivia Crane. I'm back from an interesting road trip through Colorado, Idaho, Utah, and Arizona. During that time, I was able to continue writing my grandmother's story in my next new book called Annie's Journey. We visited with relatives and friends along the way. When I stayed in a RV campground I donated a book of mine to their small library. They were thrilled to get an author copy signed by me. |
